# 2 for 2018....it is a refurbish of my deceased friend Harry’s build
Academy 1/32 Sopwith Camel purchased as is, no prop, no wheels or landing gear and rigging incomplete

Wheels and prop from my Wingnut Wings Camel kit. They fit pretty much seamlessly with only slight mods.

Wood effects with Ultimate gelb base, Citadel yellowish and dark brown brush painted

Combination of Harry’s thread and EZ Line for the rigging

Then some finished shots

Lastly with a new Black Dog figure I just got expressing how much fun rigging a plane is

(was disappointed tho as so many are with the build threads you guys had to deal with PB.) For some reason tho the Thunderbird Phantom just did not connect on the link you had. Hmm dunno.

Oh great Scott. Yea, I will go to the build site and read it very soon. I got a nice Phantom II in the stash and want to build it some day soon. Your tips alone will help me from "binning" it. omg... im turning into one of these guys!

Wow, that Star Wars dio is something entirely different and never seen anyone do before. Be interesting if others started doing the same with this and other movies. This is one idea I'm going to try in the future.

Ya it just kinda came from a photo posted in my thread and moved from making crash dio to making the movie set
It was fun as heck, an early diorama and I have not topped it yet

Fujimi Ferrari Daytona Spyder...delayed due to a certain paint company I wont deal with again

Not perfect and I had to fully strip the paint as my clear wrinkled on me due to water contamination, the BMF chromes a bit wide in spots too

Gorgeous car though sweet v12 engine

Rolling chassis and yellow body primer

Lotus F1 Type 79 Martini driven by Mario Andretti

I did a lot of internal detail that came out really nice with wiring and plumbing

The Cartograph decals are beautiful on this kit, BUT I wrinkled them with the clear coat and ruined it

Tamiya Suzuki RG 250 Walter Wolf Special motorcycle

Older bike kit, but a dream to build up.
Paint was a Tamiya TS-53 deep metallic blue decanted and sprayed with an air brush; clear is Gravity colors two part clear

I really enjoyed building a motorcycle and will do more. They display extremely well and have great realism

Lots of mods on this especially in a non visible interior

She was a challenge, but built up nicely in the end with a few figures

Missed the addition of the bike to the collection (not paying attention!) - that's really nicely done and a great finish too. I remember the Wolf F1 car but didn't know he'd dabbled with bikes too.

The Sterling is great as well - cracking result from a really old kit and lots of hidden additives during the build too!
